Chabad’s Hebrew School gives children in Tokyo a way into their own heritage: the alef-bet, the holidays, the stories, and the sense that this belongs to them.
The programme follows the JFuture curriculum, which is built around doing rather than memorising — children make, taste, sing and act out what they are learning.
Who it is for
Children of the local Jewish community and of families posted to Tokyo, at every level of background. No prior Hebrew is assumed.
